a2bmoves.co.uk Removals was founded in 1999 by Steve Culver and Caroline Frankson.
It all started with offering a man and van service part time as Steve was working nights driving articulated lorries, after a few months we decided to do this full time.
Steve has been around transport all his life driving vans and lorries, and when not driving them was loading them up by hand or by fork lift trucks. After a few weeks we bought a larger truck and started to do removals.
With his wealth of experience he worked out the best way to load the vehicle and trained the porters, and we still load each house–move the same way. After a few months some one asked if I could dispose of some rubbish on a regular basis which we done and that led on to doing house clearance.. Now we do house clearance for a large number of solicitors and estate agents and some very large companies, and local councils.
Caroline deals with house clearance and is experienced in dealing with people after a bereavement. She also buys and sells furniture, and enjoys restoring some of the items. Caroline & Steve always work very hard and makes sure every thing we do is to the highest standard. Steve and I are passionate about the environment and have an aversion to “Fly Tippers”.
Between us we are a very good team both experienced in all aspects of our business very helpful and conscientious.

Dear Steve and Caroline,
I would like to thank you both for the superb service you provided for my recent house move.
The move itself was not a straight forward one as the cottage I was moving from, although delightful, has low ceilings and awkward little corners. Your removal men took all in their stride, found creative solutions for problematic large items to get through small openings, were careful, polite and calm and managed to remain cheerful throughout.
The contents of the cottage and its garden were being delivered to two different locations and they organised this without a single hitch. In fact, the whole moving business, which I had been dreading, turned out to be a smooth and well run event.

“Caroline” you made my move into less than ideal temporary accommodation much more pleasant than it would have been. Thank you for making it so much more presentable for me to move into.
